CRC is offering an exciting opportunity for a nonprofit Director to join a grassroots organization providing custom non-clinical services to people facing mental health challenges. The full-time Director will lead the organization through an exciting phase of growth, serving in a key leadership role. They will create, implement and manage CRC’s fundraising efforts in addition to serving as the director of the flagship Workforce program and managing other program initiatives.

The Workforce Program Specialist (WPS) is an exciting opportunity for a resident of Allston or Brighton to join a team committed to supporting the employment objectives and mental health of the neighborhood. This position offers expert peer support to individuals living in advanced recovery with mental health challenges who are pursuing a job search, new career, education opportunities - or seeking advice for how best to navigate other employment-related concerns such as requesting accommodations, navigating disability & leave, and overcoming communication issues in the workplace. The position is part-time (20 hours a week) and hybrid.

Cole Resource Center (CRC) is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization offering custom, non-clinical support to individuals living with mental health conditions and their families, friends, and allies. Since its founding in 1993, CRC has provided knowledgeable and compassionate guidance for those facing mental health challenges. CRC staff offer clients the uniquely effective voices of those with both expertise and lived experience. They know that recovery from mental illness is achievable and that education, community, and open conversation are powerful in promoting resilience.
In 2025, CRC is entering an ambitious phase of strategic growth to expand its impact. CRC has three signature programs:
1. Workforce Program: Offers tailored job search and career support to individuals living with mental health conditions, addressing challenges such as re-entry to the workforce, career changes, or managing mental health at work. Services are delivered by peers who bring both professional skills and lived experience.
2. Resource Navigation: Provides custom referrals to relevant and accessible mental health resources.
3. Women’s Family Support Group: Meets twice a week, providing a safe space for caregivers to share experiences and support one another.
