The Cole Resource Center honors co-founder Evelyn Barkin who passed away in September 2025. Over the course of 25 years, Evie offered knowledgeable and compassionate support to so many. She was a courageous advocate for better understanding of mental illness and for the value of peer support. We remember fondly Evie’s warm greetings to all who connected with CRC, and are privileged to carry on her work.
